About Ashley Gangadean
Hello, I'm Ashley Gangadean She/Her and I am a licensed mental health counselor and a Washington State approved clinical supervisor in Seattle, WA. I am specialized in working with developmental trauma, complex trauma, generational/ancestral trauma, children of immigrants experience, family of origin issues, and identity development (LGBTQ+/racial identity). I take into consideration from a holistic perspective how my client’s individual experiences and life story are impacted by the systems we live in (often oppressive). We will work together collaboratively and through building our relationship, discover ways to unlock one’s resilience, strength, and innate abilities to heal and thrive in life despite the wounds one carries.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy method that helps people heal from the emotional distress of trauma and other disturbing life experiences.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require a detailed description of the traumatic event.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is a collaborative and confidential process where I will provide guidance, support and mentorship for therapists seeking licensure and/or want to further their clinical skills.
This relationship is a critical part of professional training and development for mental health professionals.
